Kevin M. LivingstonEngineering/Estimation Manager |
Value Delivered
Kevin helps clients implement ECS's Guaranteed Energy Savings Program and take other effective steps to reduce their energy consumption and costs. His responsibilities begin with a client's preliminary acceptance of an ECS-developed feasibility study. Kevin and his team of engineers and estimators then refine this into a preliminary project study. During this time, they work with the client to establish the specific details of ECS's recommended energy conservation measures and develop a more precise estimate. Kevin then prepares detailed, right-sized proposals that provide clients with the innovative solutions they need for improved energy efficiency. After a proposal has been accepted, Kevin familiarizes the construction team with the client's short- and long-term expectations, as well as the project's specific components, including schedule, budget, and performance parameters.
Expertise
Kevin has worked in the mechanical construction industry for more than 15 years. Prior to joining Havel, he worked with another local mechanical services firm, where he held a variety of positions, including temperature control installation technician, planned maintenance sales representative, mechanical project sales engineer, service administrator, and service manager. During that time, he gained extensive experience in planning and specifying mechanical services and building automation systems. Kevin joined Havel, ECS'spredecessor firm, in 2004 as a project sales engineer. Today, he spends much of his time applying his engineering and estimating expertise to Guaranteed Energy Savings projects for K-12 clients.
Kevin has a bachelor's degree in business marketing from Indiana University and has participated in numerous technical and management courses. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers, and a past member of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Indiana and the Mechanical Service Contractors of America. He is also a past board member of the Northeast Indiana Air Conditioning Contractors of America.
The Personal Side
Kevin and his wife have three boys. In addition to his family, he enjoys serving on his church's board of directors and playing golf.
